Blakite is een zeer vuurvaste mortel met een donkergrijze kleur en een hoog waterretentievermogen. Deze mortel is speciaal ontwikkeld voor het leggen van isolerende vuurvaste stenen, maar is ook geschikt voor gebruik met extra sterke en dichte vuurvaste stenen met een hoog aluminiumoxidegehalte, bij bedrijfstemperaturen tot 1650 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

De mortel heeft een consistentie die geschikt is voor oppervlakkige reparaties of het aanbrengen met een troffel, maar vereist de toevoeging van circa 5% water voor het dompelen. Blakite is een goede keuze als universele mortel voor projecten waarbij voornamelijk isolerende vuurvaste stenen worden gebruikt, maar ook enkele dichte vuurvaste stenen.<\/p>\n
